condenser dryer keeps tripping fuse box

    it only trips the sockets everything else works such as lights etc.is the dryer past its time perhaps???

    Have you tried to plug anything else into the socket to see if it trips the mcb
    If its fine then try this,
    Plug it out, open the plug up and check the connections.
    How old is it?

    didnt try anything else in it tbh,the father in law put a brand new plug on it yesterday and again it tripped,the wiring of the new plug is spot on,it is 21 months old,the manufacturer is BEKO

    Is it only tripping since the new plug? 21 months is certainly not old for a machine like this.
    Maybe he nicked a wire or something....can you post a photo of plug wiring?

    Sorry I re-read your post, plug is a replacement.
    They plugging something else into the socket....a
    Has the machine leaked any water recently?

    More likely to be water after getting into the machine where it shouldn't. Have a look at the back of the machine and see is it draining correctly or is the drain pipe now letting water back into the machine.

    there's water in it,draining it out now so i'll try it again in a few hours

    i put it on the ground face down and a nice bit of water came out,enough to wet its electrics internally

    You need to find out where it's leaking!

    Otherwise it will happen again.

    came from the same place where the water cartridge is inserted
