    However, a patron of the bar confirmed the incident had happened but insisted the former Taoiseach had not been injured and said the crutch had connected with the bar counter.

    Agree totally. Under the circumstances, would he not have been able to articulate his feelings without lowering himself like that? Wielding a crutch..then posing for a fukcing ridiculous photo with said crutch and a dirty big grin on his face..made a tw@t of himself imho.
