Unhygenic pouring of pint..what can i do ?

One or 2 of the barmen in local pub my have a terrible habit of wiping any excess on the side of a pint of guinness with their hands or holding the glass at the rim when pouring a pint.

I have asked them not to do that when serving me a pint but they obviously don't care and have been poorly trained.

Is there any hygiene regulations for pubs and pouring pints? My only alternative is to drink elsewhere but this pub is handy!

just order you pint then look out the window or something.
If you don't know they're doing it, it wont bother you!

Switch to bottles of Guinness.

For that, I'd say it to his manager. It's pretty fookin nasty. Especially if he has been handling bottles and such. There is no reason at all that a bartenders hand should touch beer that is to be consumed, or even the top of a glass which is to be used.
