Dragging yourself out of bed at 5am to try to get 15 miles in before before work and the 'hurricane'. Then sitting at my desk with a large coffee with the sleet belting off the window and the wind howling outside!

Fair play, I was awake at 5 this morning as the dog was barking, so I pretended I was asleep until MrsBeepBeep got up to her, then I rolled over until just before 6:30, threw on some gear, pressed start on the treadie and then came around about 15mins later!

Weather technology. Was able to check when the storm is due to arrive via charts etc, pinpointing the exact point of the calm before the storm, nipping out for an easy run.

Wouldn't interest me, I hate the thoughts of women being thought of as s3x objects.

Ended my little runstreak today from Jan 1st...
My rave ; foot a bit iffy yesterday and today, so decided to listen to my body and look at the big picture/long term...

Previously I would have ploughed on, hoping for the best but knowing deep down it was a bad decision...

Think i'm finally getting it that this is a long term game...

My wife actually got me his book for X-Mas. I was kinda surprised when I looked at it as I don't watch snooker at all. It is actually called "Running though" and he talks a good bit about running in it- he loves it, brings peace etc…he is a 35:xx 10k so takes it pretty seriously.

Marathon Talk interviewed him recently - episode 199 & 200. Thought it was quite good

Snowboard Cross. Chaotic brilliance! If you don't enjoy that then you're a miserable piece of work! Ski Cross to come later in the week, which is even more entertaining!

Spring has sprung. Time to put the winter gear away, at least until March. Probably just another 4 weeks of running in the dark before evenings are bright for the whole run.
