Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Just watching the great Manchester run there and some lady just ran an over 65's 10k world record, 40:30. That is inspirational, fair play to her.

Were you here? Damn if so you could have gotten me my Starbucks mug, have to catch up on your log. On task list this morning. Track looks deadly but last time I ran for a flight in Dublin I nearly had an asthma attack as I don't even suffer from it. Hard to run for something in jeans and pulling a bag behind you.

No haven't been there, just stumbled across that article on facebook. Think instead of travelators they installed the above setup, more walking less standing I guess.

2 mile road races being rarely run.

...and that then enabling me to get a screen shot of me being at the top of the UK rankings for old blokes, even if only for a week until the next race in the series.

Once again had a nice run around Fota wildlife park in the annual Cheetah Run last night. I ran with a friend who impressed me no end by saying at the start that we would aim to finish in ~32mins and when I checked the results later, it was 32:01. An no she wasn't wearing a watch!

And for the first time ever I saw a kangaroo with a joey in its pouch :)

Rave: Running my fastest 10K yesterday in 3 years on the back of virtually no training

Mild non-raves: Marginally missing out on a sub-40 and name missing from official results :(

    Rave:

I love running again. Took me over six months after DCM bit me in the arse to be able to say that, and at a couple of stages I thought we'd broken up for good. Now I can absolutely say I'm coming back to where I was. LOVE IT :)

While we're name-dropping, I was driving up Parliament St. in Dublin earlier when Aiden Gillen cycled past; going the wrong way too.

Saw a new variation of prizes in a 5m in Ardmore Fri evening, instead of age group prizes they had a prize for each person who was first in their star sign so 24 of them in all :)
