Not many runners about tonight, just back from 7 miles of breezey cold runningness.

I think someone may have mentioned this a while back but - hangover runs. I was as sick as a plane to Lourdes all day and finally mustered the courage to leave the sitting room, stick on the gear and head out at about half 8. 2 miles down the road and the pain and suffering was all but gone! Result. :)

Hungover running is great - once I get out the door I feel normal once again... unless it's a very bad hangover. I did a miserable 20 mile LSR the morning after a great night out a couple of months ago, the first 16 miles were truly miserable.

    Loads of mini raves !

Getting a proper run in for the first time since DCM. Only 3.5 miles but was great to be out there and feeling like injuries were behind me.

Surprisingly enjoyable running naked (not the clothes but garmin less)

An easy day in work after 3 weeks of madness.

Karma in the world. My feed full of people being starting to be caught out / showing their true colors to the world and having it bite them in the ass.

Related to the above ! Facebook - like a certain type of post and loads more of the same come at you.

Single parents - I've had the kids by myself for the last few days. Yet again my hats off to all single parents out there. You deserve a rave about you.

Spurs - Playing some great football and Match Of The Day is now something to look forward to.

I could go on and on but will finish with one last rave - being in a happy place :)

First run back after 8 weeks off due to shin bone marrow oedema. In the cold rainy afternoon 2.5k at softly softly catchy monkey pace. Bliss!

    Ooooooh I forgot about that!

It was stolen from me in an instant by one of my supporters who needed it to keep herself contactable during the race. Which turned out to be a good idea because even a fcuking nokia 3310 wouldn't have lasted for as long as it took me to finish.

Huh with your fancy power chargers. I got verucca ointment and some manky shark drink. Still have both so PM if interested.

16 kids between 5 and 10 years old training on a winters evening. Not just running either, javelin long jump and the like. And all for a club less than a year in existence.

    Anti-rave :

    Plantar Fasciitis. :(
I walked across town today and then limped back. I've ignored it for quite a while and now it's bad. I'm a stupid.
On the way home from work I saw three guys running and I started crying. :(
