Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi,

I have netflix using Nintendo Wii in the living room

In the kitchen we have Saorview and freeset on a Ferguson Ariva 150 set top box.

I see from the Ferguson Ariva manual that if I have a Wifi dongle (Ralink 5370) I can connect to the internet over Wifi.

So I'm wondering if anyone can advise if I get a Wifi dongle (Ralink 5370) can I stream netflix to the television ?

    Thanks in advance

No answers as yet.... but I have another idea: if I buy a wifi media streaming device such as Roku

Can I plug that into the TV hdmi or the red / yellow / white cables ?

Then can I get netflix into the TV ?

    Regards,

Yes, as long as whatever device you get supports Netflix

I'm pretty sure the Ariva 150 does not support Netflix, so yeah, go with a Roku, Apple TV or WDTV Live, etc.

The Ariva 250 has Netflix in it's menu, will it work?
I'm about to purchase a dongle fir this same reason.

Oh, I could be wrong so! I never noticed it on the Ariva 150 though, unless a s/w update added it.

Could you not stick an ethernet cable temporarily into the 250 to try it first, before splashing out on the wifi dongle?
