Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

So been trying to get some heat into the rads and was bleeding them without luck, just a hissing then nothing.

then read somewhere to open the feed valve beside the tank to 1 Bar, was at zero before opened it, nothing happened till tried bleeding one radiator, then pressure went to the one bar, so closed feed valve, and bleed a few more radiators with success.

Question is, do I now keep this valve tight shut, pressure is gently flickering on 1.2 bar at the moment.

Yes it should be shut off and disconnected (Filler Loop?) if your system has been filled and purged of air and the pressure is reading somewhere approx 1 to 1.25 bar when cold

Have no idea what the filler loop is, sorry. All I did was open the valve (black knob beside bar reader) bleed the radiators sucesfully and close again. Didn't touch anything else or knowingly connect anything.

You sound like you have an automatic filler valve so that stays where it is if you had a filler loop it would essentially be a silver flxible hose with a valve and non return valve which creates a bridge between the mains and heating system it should be disconected when a system is filled but that rarely seems to happen
