Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Heating pipework insulation

Hello! Doing small amount of renovation work on older bungalow. Plumbers have had to dig up the floors in all but a few rooms to address issues with older and poorly fitted heating pipes. Bit of a nightmare! Happened to be in a stove showroom today and the salesman mentioned in passing that the insulation around the heating pipe work can be of varying standards, with the grey insulation being the most basic. The insulation laid around the new pipe work in my home is grey! Should I ask plumber if better grade insulation can be used, if it's not too late to replace same? Grateful for any advice.
