Career Opportunities in Environmental Health

    Hi all.
    I am thinking of studying Environmental Health after Leaving Cert 2014.

    Basically, I would like to know more about career opportunities after you get your degree in Environmental health.

    Does anyone have any knowledge in this area? What would this degree qualify me in to work after i complete the degree?

    Are there many jobs related to this in Ireland at the present moment?

    There have been 8+ years of graduates (30-40 per year) who haven't got an Environmental Health Officer job in Ireland from this course. You can do further study or work in Industry in food safety, health & safety and Environmental control but the course is more EHO training which is a bit ridiculous at this stage. :cool:
