Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Do IPhones need unlocking these days? I remember years ago phones used on the Vodafone network could be used on any network, or maybe some Nokias could be used on any. I imagine Iphones are the same? Please someone help!!

If they're bought straight from Apple they don't need unlocked but if they're bought from a carrier they'll need unlocked. The best way to do that is to contact the carrier who the phone is locked to and ask them to do it for a small fee. There are software methods of unlocking unofficially but they'll get erased by software updates.

So are you asking about vodafone specifically? If they provided you with the phone it will be locked. If you're out of contract they'll unlock it for free for you, you can request this online on myvodafone or search for the online form. If you don't meet the criteria you can get anyone with vodafone who does meet the criteria to request the unlock for you (they don't have to own the phone). You're allowed 3 unlocks per year. Keep in mind if the phone has ever been replaced (eg insurance/warranty) vodafone won't/can't unlock it unless you can provide proof of old/new phone.
