Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Thermostat too High?

Quick question. We moved into a new apartment back in January, and had issues with the radiators coming on. It is a gas boiler in the kitchen and the main thermostat is in the hall, it is not a digital thermostat.

Only way the radiators would become hot is if we turn the thermostat up (naturally) however, we currently have it at 28 degrees and the radiators are only warm, not hot, and some are hotter than others in the apartment.

Surely we should be able to keep the thermostat down to a usual 21 degrees and have the radiators warm the room? The boiler was serviced back in December 2012, so less than a year ago.

Any ideas or advice would be great as I have no idea what to do, or where to go!

You might want to try bleeding the radiators, they may well be full of air.

Thanks LittleGarry. We tried this, and didn't make a difference.

Rads may need to be flushed out, usually a job for a plumber, they have the machine.
