Are any of Cena's mates better off after they deal with him? Bourne, Ryder, Bryan etc...now we're onto Cesaro and Big E. It's hard to remain optimistic.

    Does Sheamus count?

I mean Cena befriending another face. Unless he befriended face Sheamus?

    This better be a massacre.

And JBL needs to be shot.

Ah right. Thought you meant those he tried to get over.

I'm told he befriended Sheamus and Ryback building up to their match with the Shield at Elimination Chamber. Ring any bells? I'm drawing a complete blank.

I vaguely remember the Ryback thing, but not the Sheamus one.

That post-Wrestlemania crowd has ruined a lot of shows. Everyone tries to copy it now. It was awful the first time, why try copy it?

Cue insufferable "we are awesome" chants. Ugh.

    Feckin lightweights :pac:

The show has actually been very good since the Cena match. It was hit or miss before then. Hopefully it finishes on a high now.

5 good wrestlers in the main event, it can't go wrong! (Unless Big Show returns and spends the match selling like a turtle!)

I'm here enjoying it too. :)

Was just thinking the same. The only thing that can really go wrong is the Wyatts showing up. Orton has no reason, Big Show has no reason, Triple H/Stephanie arent there, Kane has almost no reason. Hopefully the Wyatts missed the flight and we get to finish the show with just these five.

Final ad break. Hope WWE show restraint and leave it with the lads in-ring.

Manchester fans are easily amused if that got a "This is awesome" chant.

Don't think I've ever seen punk get the hot tag and run wild. It's weird!

The match wasn't anything special but really enjoyed the big schmoz ending. Crowd really ate it up. I wonder if they'd do a massive 12 man series elim with those, or stick with 2 matches with 5-on-5. Still need to fit in Los matadors and real Americans in there somewhere ;)

Can we stick Los Matadors on the wrong plane so they never come back? :D

I don't like watching these pre taped shows from the UK. It just doesn't feeling the same as raw coming from the states. Maybe it is the back ground.

Really disliked the opening on numerous levels; so great are Steph and HHH at running the company that they leave on holidays and forget to designate anyone to be in charge? If anything, the opening angle simply pointed out how many Autority Figures we have and none of them knew who was meant to be the one in charge. I had hoped Kane, given he's the newest one and a monster heel, would have just murdered Bischoff Jr. and Vickie would have given in, but no...apparently even Maddox doesn't fear Kane any more.

As for The Shield vs The Wyatts, I felt they rushed through about three weeks of story here. Loved the big where they said they didn't work for Randy, and thought they could start teasing the face turn. Then they clash with the Wyatts, which seems very quick to be on the same show, but the crowd were eating it up, and I loved the visuals of Rollins and Ambrose squaring up to the far bigger men. Ambrose showing zero fear of the sheep mask was brilliant...

....and then they are working together again. Ok, but at least that super-team of Shield/Wyatts will be superpowe....no wait, they got chased off already. Could have had a dark ending of the two groups simply demolishing Punk and Bryan, with the others getting involved next week, but no, got to rush everything.

    :(

EDIT: I also hate handicap matches with the faces outnumbering the heels. AND why does Vickie have more power than Maddox, when Maddox is the Raw GM and she isn't?

Apparently, and I missed this, next week's Raw will be WWE Raw Country, as they have a Country Music theme.

    :(

Just thinking, it's odd they didnt do something with Barrett or even Regal. Unless they were dark matches?

Regal's focused on NXT and Barrett is also having some visa problems. Although, a UK tour is the perfect opportunity to roll him out unless they're planning another repackage.

Find it hard to get through them aswell then I end up staring at the noisy crowd who are visibly sitting on their hands.

I wanted to hear the reaction for AJ's entrance but instead they cut it but show the non reaction to the Bella's. Then Nikki tried to get people going by shouting "Come on Manchester". Was deafened by the silence.

And what are they doing to Kidd? Do they want him to be heel.

Does anyone else get mixed up with the start of Axel's and the start of The Real Americans entrance themes?

Then the whole thing with 3MB. The commentators trying to figure out whose idea it would've been with none of them mentioning the fact that Drew is British?

I was at it live last night, haven't watched a taping yet but the crowd were pretty noisy! The opening dark match was Wade Barrett as a face against Damien Sandow, with special guest ring announcer William Regal....

I really enjoyed the moment when the Wyatts squared up to the Shield. I love storylines that aren't these vs them, I love it when it all overlaps and slides into place are there are loads of storylines going on in one feud. For a second I thought it was going to be this great storyline and then I realised there's no point getting too into it, as it'll all be over after Survivor Series.

That was poor enough but nowhere near as bad as last week. Ryback being buried not a bad thing at all.

Wade was in the dark match before RAW taping

Watched the first half of this with the missus last night - have to say I really hated the opening.

Brad Maddox comes out and makes a match in his role as Raw GM. Great stuff. CORN BEEF! Makes sense.

The Devil's Favourite Libertarian Glenn Jacobs comes out and he makes a match in HIS role as Director Of Operations for The Authority, which he believes supersedes Maddox's role. Also fine, yes, good.

Then.... Vickie comes out..... and supersedes them BOTH..... in her role as..... Smackdown GM????!??:confused::confused:

Like the segment would still be fine if you start off with Vickie, and maybe THEN have Maddox, and THEN have Kane. But otherwise???

I know he's a heel as well but I'm also VERY surprised they openly acknowledged a "Randys boring!" chant on commentary.

I was under the impression you could be booed as a heel (fine), booed as a face (wow, very passionate crowd here tonight! THE CHAMP IS HEEEERE!!!!) but a "boring" chant was like the WORST POSSIBLE reaction you can get.

Maybe they just know a smarky crowd when they see one and don't take too much notice :P

Austin once started a boring chant for Lance Storm. Obviously they dont have much issue with it.
