Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

They make up for it though with the benefits of the job and a long retirement with (hopefully) financial security

Hull have the 3rd best home defensive record in Europe this season (heard it mentioned in press conference tother day!)

    They won't be pushovers anyway.

3 goals conceded in 8 games. Yikes.

Then again, we do have Danny Welbeck.

Regardless of their defensive record, Hull are a team that we should be able to take the game to and beat, even if its only by 1 goal. Hoping to see a positive lineup tomorrow.

Hull are bottom half of the league so should be a win. :D

I would hazard a guess that every single United fan the world over was excited at the prospect of Veron signing. I was working in a place in the Western Industrial Estate at the time, and I always remember picking up a copy of The Star with his signing on the back page and being absolutely delighted with it.

No one at the time would have said it was a gamble signing him - a proven quality world class player. Was just a real shame that it didn't work out the way we all would have wanted.

He joined united 10 years too early back, he is EXACTLY the player united need now, the english game hadnt adopted the continental style and he just wasnt used to it.

    30 million. ????????????????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! at least?????????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Lads stop posting while yer on the sauce

Why not didnt we fork out 27 million after a season for rooney, barkley has shown just as much class.

Nah... Paul Scholes is the type of player Utd need now !

I don't think that's quite accurate is it?

Has Barkley been to a major championship with England and performed well, brilliantly in fact, (4 goals in 4 games, team of the tournament inclusion) that Im unaware of? Never mind that his league form hasn't actually stood up to Rooneys at Everton either, last minute winner against Arsenal breaking a 30 match unbeaten run before the age of 17 type stuff

The fee was 25.6 million too wasn't it? (Purely for pedantry reasons :))

    Probably the best?
United face a Hull team with the best home defensive record in the Premier League having conceded just three goals at the KC Stadium

Don't like those kind of stats, who have they played at home for example? How many of the top 5-8 teams have visited the KC this year?

It sounds good but in reality without a bit more detail it doesnt carry that much weight

Watching a Heinze interview on premier league world on Bt Sport there. He came across very well and leaving utd was one of his biggest mistakes of his career

I loved watching him for utd, takes no prisoners defender. Cant get enough for them. Wes Brown in that bracket too
