Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Match thread posters say he's out.

No they will be like a team possesed next week, City seem to have the fear factor against bigger teams which we sadly lack.

    Is Kagawa injured?

    If not it's a joke

Not in the squad so I presume he's unavailable.

Could be tired from International duty, plus Cardiff would single him out for physical attacks.

Moyes trying to sign Everton! He needs to get out of that mindset

    http://www.sportpulse.net/content/manchester-united-and-liverpool-chase-cruzeiro-midfielder-everton-ribeiro-12403

Seriously it looks like one of those players for the future Moyes talked about and he is supposedly one of the best players in the Brazillian league. He is another AMF though but Moyes may have other plans for him.

Liverpool are interested too, sounds about right, Liverpool chasing Everton.

Two games for Hernandez in front of Rooney and 0 shots.

You seem a little keen to blame Rooney for that

So whose fault is it that we create next to nothing these days? That we are almost a set piece team at this stage?

are wingers not also there to create assists? maybe hernandez isnt making good enough runs/is offside too much and so is not being played in. the point is attaching blame to just rooney is not right

No, our wingers are there to ensure the ball reaches the full backs, this is clearly what they are instructed to do.

Pathetic performance. Rooney and Evra were the only players who played like united players. The amount of sub standard players at the club is ridiculous. Cardiff are a team that we should be destroying easily.

Our midfield is shockingly average. Zero creativity...Cleverly is utter trash.

    Rooney was sh*t.

Moyes has been awful so far at our club. Yes the players are very poor, but he had a summer to rectify this and ****ing brought in a waster like Fell. There's no excuse for Moyes. We are PL champions and we have been dyer this season.

That mentality has been in place for the last few years. I always hated it when we went 1-0 up early on as it always resulted in then sitting back and inviting other teams onto us.

Europe is a concern as well given no Carrick

Evra needs kick up the arse . How he let's Kim go there is shocking .

Evans, Rio, Smalling, Januzaj, Cleverley, Fellaini, Hernandez, Giggs, Welbeck were all crap today

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 5,724 ✭✭✭tallaghtmick

I said it earlier we have lost the fear factor.

  • Registered Users Posts: 5,930 ✭✭✭KH25

    Rooney was sh*t.

Rooney tried. He wasn't near his best but he tried, which is a damn sight more than can be said for most of the team.

Its nowhere near to the extent it is this season. Fergie was far better at smelling blood and making changes to reflect that. This season we have rarely pushed on and sealed games

There is absolutely nothing being created on the right when smalling and valencia play together. How valencia still gets games is baffling

A handy trip to Tottenham next week.

It's actually Evans fault. Evans was delegating duty away from him and Rio was left covering two men.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 23,228 ✭✭✭✭J. Marston

Cleverley needs to be moved on. He doesn't even deserve to be called average, that would be too high a compliment.

    He's useless and he's a coward.

Despite their result today I can see Tottenham carving us open. They have midfielders who can actually play the game.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 19,019 ✭✭✭✭adox

Pathetic is the only word to describe that performance, never mind the late goal.

Utd continuing to stumble their way through the season.

It's actually incredible they can be that poor.

  • Moderators, Sports Moderators Posts: 42,606 Mod ✭✭✭✭Lord TSC

Rooney is such a jekyl and hyde player for me. Great goal and a great corner, but some woeful moments as well, none more so than the attempt to pass to Welbeck at the end. THAT was when he decided not to be selfish.

Should have been sent off. Should have won the game in injury time but f**ked up. Gave the ball away numerous times leading to more pressure. He was as sh*t as the rest of them for the majority of the game.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,136 ✭✭✭✭Rayne Wooney

We parked the bus when Welbeck came on which isn't good enough playing Cardiff

We're almost a third through the season and we've been absolute muck in almost every single game, we'll be lucky to get a top 6 place.

Negative, Chris Smalling is the real culprit, the amount of needless free kicks given away towards the end of the game was shocking.

Wellbeck and Rooney missing two golden chances also cost us dearly.

  • Registered Users Posts: 5,347 ✭✭✭Quandary

Along with Valencia Cleverley has regressed massively. Neither are good enough for Utd.

Fellaini had some good moments but was very poor at times.

Januzaj had weak game but Welbeck was worse when he came on.

Even if we had won that game, the performance was shocking. Nothing in the middle of the park and nothing out wide.

Significant investment needed, along with clearing out of a lot of expensive dead wood.

I would have but seeing Moyes got the job he deserves a season at least.
