It's like a chore watching 90 minutes of United these days, just not pleasant at all.

Well 80 minutes of it anyway. I think we always start fairly well, look to be passing around nicely and then it just goes to shìte. Especially after scoring.

We constantly seem to sit back after scoring these days. I miss the days where we would score and then keep attacking until the other team was well beaten. Sitting on a 1 goal lead is never good.

You know what, I bet we win tonight. We will play crap and Rooney will win it for us. Typical United.

    Anyway.

Have you seen a few newspaper reports over the last few weeks linking us with Sneijder? Will that story ever go away?
Also i've seen it mentioned twice now on the sky app in the paper section about Spurs and Chelsea interested in Kagawa. Can't help but wonder why, and also whether it could pave the way for us buying one of their players, i.e. Mata or Dembele.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,290 ✭✭✭Oregano_State

Lads I'd actually be sickened if someone in the PL bought Kagawa, gave him a chance, and he started pissing all over the league like we all know he can.

It would be ten times worse than Pogba imo. I can't help myself, I love the guy.

PS United win for me tonight.

Smalling at right back so once again the right side of our attack is fúcking pointless.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,761 ✭✭✭Donnielighto

Buttner for val and id be delighted, obvo nani right In that case. Maybe ando for giggs.

  • Moderators, Sports Moderators Posts: 18,427 Mod ✭✭✭✭DM_7

Why sad that Giggs is playing? No real alternative and normally does well in a European game.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,290 ✭✭✭Oregano_State

    That'll do nicely.

Ah heyor he was brilliant against the Gooners.

Ah heyor he was brilliant against the Gooners.

He defended well against Arsenal, but like most of the team offered not a damn thing going forward.

    Evil Kagawa on Twitter:
    Do Kagawa play hole tonight?

You GOD A DAM RIGHT I PLAYING HOLE YOU COCK-A-SUCKERS!

Why team laugh when say I enjoy play Moyes hole?

That's just wrong. In the first half he provided a great threat.

I didn't see the Cardiff game so I can't comment on that.

mixed views on the team....in one hand delighted to see nani and Kagawa finally get a run out behind Rooney, but Jones and giggs?

this is the teamsheet that i just dreaded during the summer, hopefully we do enough to pull through but this is going to be tough. 0-0 or 1-1 is our lot IMO, not too confident in Rio either playing 2 games in 3 days.

eitherway, alot of players need to step up tonight or we will be beaten. very worrying that we have 5 of our first 11 players injured at the moment. bench doesnt inspire confidence either.

Ferdinand looking increasingly dodgy this season. Hard to believe he was playing so well he was asked to play for England last season.

Why isn't Rafael playing is he injured? Would much prefer him on the right and smalling in for Ferdinand

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 18,495 ✭✭✭✭bucketybuck

Gee, we look like a different team tonight, I wonder what is different this time? :pac:

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,894 ✭✭✭Nolars

Some dodgy defending on our part plus these guys are fair bad.

Apparently Ross Barkley has changed agent...

His new agent is David Moyes son, draw from that whatever you wish!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,369 ✭✭✭UnitedIrishman

Really need Vidic to get back and have a run of games. Rio is a getting to be a liability at this stage, sad as it is to say.

Has anybody any confidence in a win tonight lads. Betfair offering 7/1 max bet a tenner in you open a new account. The sad thing is i will do it but with very little expectations.
    Giggsy11 wrote: »
I for one am not confident at all. We will drop as deep as possible and play defensively. Even if we win it will be a troll win with a goal against the run of play.

God I miss watching us play in full flow.

Couldn't have been more wrong :D

This has been a stroll for Utd.....
    Are BL usually this bad?

The BL fans are brilliant in fairness, 3-0 down and still chanting.

Really hope thats a sign of a future transfer to us. He has all the attributes needed to be a top class midfielder.

Its one of those games tho where I hope people don't say "We can kick on from here" or "Its finally coming together". They've been good but Leverkusen have been awful.

Rooney 4 assists tonight could have sworn i heard people saying he lacks creativity. The man is a genius.

Yeah. Amazes me he decides to be creative when he's playing as the lone striker. Wish he'd do that more often when he's playing in the hole.

Kagawa had an impressive game, as did Nani. Amazing when Moyes plays positive football, we actually dominate a team...

I know what you are saying GSP but The way United are attacking with some creativity and flair is noteworthy though

Yeah, just you ignore the fact that he and the team looked completely different with Rooney not as the number 10, but instead up front in his best position. Complete coincidence I am sure.

9 goals against a German team in 2 games aint too bad.
