If you are into doing roadraces 5k,10k etc, see here and check out the calendar.

Leevale are indeed a fine club, another fine club who are based in the city are St. Finbarr's AC: www.stfinbarrsac.com

They train on Wednesdays and Fridays at CIT track and the Mardyke (Sonia O'Sullivan) Track on Fridays. They also train on Mondays, meeting at the Mardyke and running around the western parts of the city of you have the option of doing hill sessions too...I am a member and there is a great bunch of people involved.

Thanks for the info on the clubs, they both look really very good!
Just wondering also is there a bus that goes from the city centre to the UCC track, Mardyke??

    Thanks :)

The number 8 goes past it, and the 5 goes as far as Donovan's Road, so a couple of minutes' walk from it. It's about a 20 minute walk from town, tops.

When I saw the thread title I thought you wanted to take over Cork. The only advice I could give in the circumstances is: occupy Collins Barracks and train the guns on Patrick Street. You'll soon call their bluff about being the Rebel City,
