Cat volunteer shelters in Meath

Are there any cat shelters or animal shelters that house cats that take volunteers in Meath or close to Meath? As close to Dunboyne as possible. There is one in Drogheda but I think that's too far away (I'd have to get the bus or train which would cost too much). I'd prefer a place with cats as I'm better with them than…

Only one I know of is in Trim, dunno anything about taking volunteers but you could ask the woman who runs it, I only know of it from a friend.
