Just noticed he has a Garmin too - at least he'll know how fast he was going when the steerer tube breaks ;-)

What the actual fcuk is this..

This is an Ultra-Marathon event bike.
The handlebars hold six litres of water, accessed by sucking on the nipple of the lever hood, and there is a vacuum toilet built into the saddle. So there is no need to stop, ever.

That's nuts, it's not even ugly, it like a new life form. The seat tube allowing the wheel to intersect it some how, the top tube, the handlebars, the whole thing, it is just nuts.
I have a strange curiosity about it, I want to cycle it to see what it's like after 300km

  • Registered Users Posts: 3,444 ✭✭✭TheBlaaMan

No, it was banned because it was a port-a-potty. :o

That's some seriously weird stuff...I'll never understand how people can be so cheap about something that can potentially kill you.

Now that's a seat post that would go with the crazy extended steerer tube.
Also, note that the seat is shoved forward on the rails.

Best case scenario here is that the "seat post" comes apart and you fall off and die. Worst case scenario is that the "seat post" comes apart, you impale yourself on the raggedy shards of the old post, and, by some cruel twist, you survive and have to forever more tell the story of why you walk so funny now.

Add a go pro into the equation and you could upload "1 guy 1 seatpost" to liveleaks for enduring fame.

Didn't look too bad at first glance but the ugliness seems to grow on you.

I'm usually a huge fan of Look but that's just horrible.

True. The more you look at it, the more wrong it becomes.

While I'm no fan of the bike, I'd be pretty happy to have shat a pair of Zipps.

Zipps? You wouldn't want to be mistaken for a triathlete.

not sure Spartacus would accept being mistaken for a triathlete

All the sponsorship money in the world can't rescue Zipps from fredliness.

The lack of a cranks makes the the bike look extremely odd in fairness.

I think this is rather fetching:

No, it's still mongo ugly but can now at least be cycled out of sight.
I think all those modern Cervelos are little more than ugly angular assed bikes.
Would I take it for free, 'of course I would but with so many beautiful alternatives out there I could'nt pay for something like that without having stomach pains every time I'd wheel it out.
