This is the ugly place. You have no authority here.

I may have no authority, but you, sir, have no taste.

Yeah, even a small pothole would cause terminal frame collapse.
But its a grand bike for a very small person, riding only on floor tiles.

what's that extra chain for? Is he hiding a little engine behind the panel?

EDIT: also why's it gone huge?

I think it looks cool(different) if a little unsafe.

It looks as though the pannier contains a battery pack and the cowling hides a motor.

It's not the first bike on this thread you could say that about.

Anyone remember the bike rolling around Dublin that had the front forks replaced by a pair of medical crutches (100% not fit for purpose)? I haven't seen that one in a while. Hope it's sitting in a shed somewhere rather than in a crumpled broken mess!

Also, that newish bike shop on Pearse St. had a mechanic who welded together a Frankenstein's Monster of a bike from about three different frames. The construction of the bike put the rider about five to six feet off the ground! I saw him ride the thing over the narrow humpback bridge in Ringsend one day with lots of close passing traffic, etc. Looked crazy. Totally nuts! (I need to track down some pics of these things).

There's a whole anarchist connected subculture around those tall-bikes.

There was an annoying car ad, of all things, before the original, which is why I posted the less cluttered alternative.

The proliferation of advertising on YouTube videos these days is a pet hate of mine.

There's no need to download the ads if you don't want them. I'm always amazed at what people subject themselves to whenever I use someone else's computer.

What's with the handlebars on the bike around the corner?

That video should be on a Nope type thread. It's had quite a profound effect on me. I think I need to go outside and hug the ground. I may never go upstairs again!

I once rode a tall bike that was maybe half the height of that one and it was a pretty nerve racking experience. Got a great reaction from passers by though.

I recoiled when I saw this on my bike.

    More alternative ugly.

Front spoke bollixed at the start of a lovely 20km descent. Timmelsjoch or Jaufenpass, can't remember which.

For when taking a picture of the circumstance is more appealing than resolving the circumstance :-)

Or delaying it anyway. Then I could go out to the shed, aim the camera in the door, snap a pic and upload...
