I've just realised that I shouldn't have got this offer, as I didn't spend €50. Clearly both I and the Argos person read it as "Choose a Lego item selling for more than €50 and get €25 off"... Whoopsy - What to do?

Just been in store, its a mistake!!! It should be 25% off a €60 spend, long story short I fought with the manager till she gave me the €25 discount and got the Lego city fire station for€33, so get in there quick bargain hunters, it won't be long till they change it!!!!!!!!!

I just got the following from Castlebar:
LEGO City Police Helicopter,
LEGO City Stunt Plane Playset,
LEGO City Cargo Truck Playset,
LEGO City 4x4 and Driving Boat Playset
Total in my basket was €54.86 but got it for €29.86 without arguing - just showed the manager the website on my phone.

I asked if I could get another item and he was fine with that so I picked up the LEGO City Fire Station Playset - was €83.99, reduced to €58.49, I paid €33.49

Raging. Had The Police Station it in my basket on the web, and it went at till and no stock at all in ROI according to the site/customer service and store. No stock due into warehouse til after xmas. Ridiculous.

Argos have the offer wrong on the site....have a read through previous posts here. Its supposed to be 25% off €60

Do you think they will honor the deal tomorrow? I have reserved a few things at 50 something euro, if they take the 25euro off I'll be over the moon!!! but there is nothing on my reservation email and they will probably change the website by tomorrow but consumer rights they should honor what you reserve today

Depends. Was the stuff in 3 for 2 already discounted? Some of this Lego is already discounted and then an extra 25% off.

Got my Millenium Falcon yesterday. 80 is about the limit I'd pay for it. Feel sorry for the buggers who spent the normal price, don't think its worth that much money to be honest.

got it last year for christmas at the full price and seeing his face on christmas morning with it more than made up the price, plus the thing is huge when built and a great set to play with!



i went into Argos in Cork and tried to get my reservation i made yesterday morning for the €25 off but they wouldn't honour it,i had the print screen to prove thats what it said but i didn't argue it or anything i know its invitation to treat, i tried, i missed out, and i wasn't paying full price for the x-wing.
