OK. I am provisionally putting a closing date for payment orders for next Friday.
Godtabh if its ok to use your account as per kit order.

How it will work is that I will create an email account that only I and the supplier will have access to.When you pay you can send an email WITH YOUR NAME AND ADDRESS.YOUR USERNAME ON HERE AND WHAT YOU HAVE ORDERED.
This will then be used as the database for the supplier to use for postage.

I will confirm exact prices soon for those getting both.

BUT PROVISIONALLY AND SUBJECT TO CONFIRMATION FROM THE SUPPLIER

    €18.50 PER BUFF
    €10.00 PER CAP
    € 2.50 P&P

    So for eg
    1 buff 18.50
    2 caps 20 (10 x 2)
    P&P 2.50

    Total 41

I am setting up an email account.
When you pay you will send an email to this account.
Only myself and the supplier will have access to this account (for those of you who hold their data precious)

The title you will put in the email will be your username.

In the email all you will put is your

    Username:
    Your order:
    Your real name:
    Your address:

    The email is....
    boards.ie410@yahoo.ie

Please dont put anything else in the email as this will be what the supplier will work off and is doing us/me a HUGE favour by posting direct.

daragh do you know what pantone reference the pink is/was from the last pink order? Was it you who organised it?
Be handy to have it for matching the kit and any future orders.

Ok stupid beginner question here, but can someone please explain what the purpose of a cycling cap is? I guess I need one but just can't figure out what for. Is it worn under the helmet? Is it for the cold or is the peak meant as a shade from the sun? Are they for covering ears on a cold day? Without getting into the helmet debate, if you're wearing a helmet then no one ever sees the design? Or it a fashion accessory to stop people laughing at your hair when you take a helmet off?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 6,679 ✭✭✭bcmf

The answer to that is that you should never be seen on a bike without a cap.

seriously....I find that they have several uses. Keep the sun outta your eyes ,especially low winter sun.
When its raining -windy great for giving your eyes a bit of shelter and keeping your glasses a bit cleaner for longer.
Keeps the sweat outta your eyes

    @bcmf

When will you be accepting payments again?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 6,679 ✭✭✭bcmf

    @bcmf

When will you be accepting payments again?

I got an email from the supplier yesterday saying they were having difficulty with the design and whether it was printable.
As people were paying for the buff without actually having seen it or without it be fully designed I decided to ask people to stop paying in case ,in the worst case scenario, it wouldn't go ahead.
As soon as I get word that they have found a solution I wil take it from there.

If people want to keep sending me money I'm ok with that

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,259 ✭✭✭Hunterbiker

If it proves difficult why not adopt a similar design for the buff that is used for the cap?

That's what I was aiming for.
A continuation of the 3 stripes from the cap down through the buff with the face/logo on the side as per the cap.
But that is posing part of the problem.
Will see how they get on.
