Is it possible to get free irish tv channels like RTE 1, RTE 2... through NTL (UPC) wall box in Galway? I have NTL wall box with two connectors called FM and TV. I am using that one with "TV" for my broadband but I am wondering if I can use that other one "FM" for free tv channels? Any idea?

Yeah this can be done, we have this at home (also Galway) you need to split the wire coming out of the wall box before it reaches the internet router. I dont know about the FM thing.

Just buy a COAX splitter from a hardware shop or somewhere
    They look like this: http://www.ebay.com/bhp/coax-cable-splitter

Once split put one cable back into your router and the other into the TV.

In future try the cable TV forum instead:
