New Radiators - Stelrad?

So we are doing up a fixer upper. It needs new rads. I'm inclined to take off the old ones, leave the copper pipes put new ones on. The plumber we are inclined to go with recommends Stelrad. He says there not that much between one style or another. Of the Stelrads, I like the Concord Plane [HTML]http://www.stelrad.com/uk/radiators/11/concord-plane[/HTML], but am nervous about going with the first thing he suggests. What should I be considering? Finding the specs a bit hard to navigate, well no I largely understand them, but I dont know what info to extract out for a "side by side". So:

1. Anyone have experience of Stelrad, good or bad?
2. What other brands should I consider? Especially ones that look a bit different?
3. What criteria should I be looking out for?

Any general tips?

stelrad are a great make i fit them all the time, if you want to go with the most up to date see link below, only thing is the existing rad piping will have to be altered to suit these radical rads.

Hi, thanks! What do you mean by radical - is that technical? When you say they are great, you mean that they are economical or easy to use?

Radical is just the product name but they are different from your regular rad in that the flow and return connections are in the centre of the rad,also the the flow enters the via the front of the rad while the return exits via the rear panel which means the back of the rad isnt heating the wall as much as a conventional rad.Also if they are used in conjunction with a condensing boiler they are more effective because they come with pre set valves that auto balance the system creating an even distribution of heat and a cooler return tempreature
