Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

USA biscuits are the posh tin in my house! I got a tin in Supervalu for 7 quid last week, so the Dunnes deal isn't great.

I just need a tin of chocolate kimberlys and the Christmas biscuits will be sorted :pac:

    Ok the Chocolate Kimberlys

IF ANY supermarket can get these and sell them at €6 or even €7 they'll clean up.

Yeh Tesco pretended to have them on their Crazy Prices but all stores got about 1 pallet on day 1 and that was it for the week.

So if a real supermarket gets them in and sells them for 6 or 7 they'll be the Santy of my Christmas !:P

And ps - they MUST have loads of stock !

Dunnes had them at about €9 last weekend.

3.99 for the boxes of crisps I heard on the radio earlier but wasn't sure if it was for the friday offer. Going to get 2 in the morning. It's not Christmas without the boxes of crisps in this house.

That's plagiarism! You stole my weekly thankses! :pac:

    Pro tip:
If anyone's posting a page from that user-unfriendly Metro Herald e-edition site (e-metroherald.ie), there's an easier way than downloading and uploading to an image-sharing site.

When you reach the viewer for today's paper, click the PDF button at the top, select the page that Dunnes has their ad on and then click Download Selected then click Page.pdf. Copy-paste the URL so people can access the PDF webpage directly. Then change the ".pdf" suffix of the URL to ".jpg" and you can insert that URL as an image.

Advertised on Radio that Cornflakes were E1.95 for 750g (may have been dreaming)

Lady in Dunnes said it was on Friday only but not listed on their promo pic for last Friday madness

I was under impression that it was to run all this week

Can anyone shed light on this as the sleep deprivation is seriously getting to me and I could have dreamt it!!!

    (and nearly out of cornflakes)

I think that Cornflakes was one of their weekly wonders last week?
Dunno, you will have to there to find out and while at it give out to the manager about not advertising effectively

Definitely wasn't a Friday only deal for the cornflakes. I seen them advertised in Drogheda last Wednesday or Thursday and picked up a couple of boxes on Saturday.

Where did you see advertised, is it in paper

Was in dunnes this morning and no offer on shelves

Called head office and no one there can help as they do not know the offers only deal with online

The Cornflakes were on offer last week.
This week's weekly wonders - from memory - frozen food, haagen dazs, something, something
They normally have a sandwich board outside the main door advertising them.

2 litre Pepsi was €1.19 last week in my local Dunnes, good price considering a can of pepsi would cost more in a Spar or Centra.

I'm 'off' all cola myself, I get it to boil my ham, yum yum, and if there happens to be a bit left over I might pour it into a pint glass with ice and may end up drinking the rest as 'not to waste it'.
