3 pack of Nestles are 1 euro. Toffee crisps, aero chocolate and mint, rolos etc.

I see for the weekly wonders there are 4x 1.5l of coca cola for 5 euro, you can buy each one separately for 1.29 so save a big 0.16c

Those hot bar chickens have gone from €4 at one stage to €7, even with €2 off they are a rip off in price. Great deal on 7up, will be stocking up on that.

€6 for 18 cokes not bad. I was tempted by 18 for €7.50 in tesco yesterday out in omni but was carrying too many bags already.

A fiver for a whole chicken is a rip off ? What price is fair for a chicken ?

Good deal on the wine though I have not been into Dunnes today so not sure if the offer only applies to certain wines. If not I will stock up on some Oyster Bay.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 18,216 ✭✭✭✭RobbingBandit

The price of the chicken has gone up several times was my point, every time it is on offer the price has increased since the last offer, that is clearly a rip off imo.

Salt and Vinegar flavoured pringles don't have MSG in them! Mind you, they have a fair bit of sodium in them which mightn't be so good for blood pressure...
    Unfortunately they do contain MSG...

I was just in Dunnes and there are no posters up or anything - maybe they have stopped doing it?

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,110 ✭✭✭123balltv

To be fair it's hard to see it as any sort of a major loss. They've only had sweets or minerals for the last few months (nothing wrong with either but there's only so much rubbish anyone can eat) and to be honest i can't remember them having anything that would have attracted me to go shopping on a Friday or on Dunnes just si i could get the offer. Anyway chances are if it was still on I'd be complaining about it!!
