BETA and 2 year course

Hello guys, currently I am on 1 year course and BETA payment, at the end of this school year I will have option to complete one more year of the course. Is it possible to get BETA payment for one more year? I was also wondering if I have to inform social welfare office, that I am going abroad during the Christmas time?
