Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Torn here. Massive, bordering on extreme man-love for these two gents. Ronaldo brought me so much joy as a United fan, can turn a game in an instant an will go down as one of the best ever.

Zlatan is well....Zlatan. The majesty of his play, gracefully gliding into space and unleashing untold misery on defences, the flicks backheels and THAT overhead kick. I've also back a Swedish striker for top scorer since Euro 2004 so for nostalgia sake would like to keep that going.

Luckily I'll be in the Aviva tonight so I'll not have to worry about them but Tuesday will be tough. I guess if I had to pick it would be Ronaldo but only in a gut-wretching Sophies' Choice kind of way.

I like neither of them. But I dislike Ibrahimovich more.......the man has class on the field but zero class off it. His arrogance is unmatched. And he's Swedish. A country with the personality and warmth of a doorknob.

So come on Ronaldo & Portugal!

    Aye ok.

Never really dominates a big game though.

Name a few attackers who dominate big games then

I've seen players sent off for less with his "coming together of heads"

Never really dominates a big game though.

Lets see..off the top of my head.

    2004 - Arsenal 2 Man U 4, scores twice.

2008 - Scores a vital goal away to Roma, scores and is awarded man of the match in the CL final.

2009 - Decimates Arsenal single handily at the Emirates

2011 - Scores the winning goal in the Copa Del Rey final vs Barcelona.

2012 - Scores winning goal in the Nou Camp to secure the title for Real Madrid, also scores a winning goal in a vital game away to Atletico. He also scored in the semi final second leg vs Bayern and put in a tremendous performance vs Holland for Portugal.

2013 - Destroys Barcelona in the Copa Del Rey, scores another hat trick away to Atleti. Scores in both games vs Man Utd, scores vs Dortmund to give Real a sniff of a chance.

So you're either just a WUM or unbelievably ignorant.

You're missing the point buddy. Scoring does not necessarily equal dominating. He has never dominated against Barca. Roma and Arsenal are not elite.

    Define domination?

Also, it's simply not true to say he's never "dominated" against Barca.

You also said big games, those are all big games.

    Stop moving the goal posts.

Dear lord. Cringe all over here.

Im reserving my judgement on Ronaldo till he dominates and scores 10 goals against every team in the world Ted.

Not to mention the goal he scored vs Fulham to give United the league or the 40 yard screamer he scored against Porto to put United into the European cup final. Some people haven't got a clue

If he doesn't score 100 goals per season he's a failure tbh

Amusing to see there are still those who won't give Ronaldo the credit he deserves, no point in arguing with them at this stage.

He's the best player in the world at the minute imo and I'm happy to see him take a step closer to the World Cup tonight. I'm a big fan of Zlatan aswell, but simply put he's no Ronaldo.

The Swedes are vile, boo'ing the Portugal national anthem like that.

Hope they get a beating tonight.

Sickening that was. Couple of goals early will shut them up.
