Warwick Davis and Les Dennis on BBC1 - CIN just got interesting!

I'd be a happy man if Karl Pilkington did a cameo performance!

Apart from the 100 year old man. He's not afraid of growing old gracefully.

Tonight's show was one of the better ones.......that's not saying much though.

Was thinking the same. It's not often i recognise (almost) all of the guests.

    Wasn't bad.

    Or good, i guess.

I can imagine Karl's response will be 'what's with all this p*ss*ng about for an entire night? Just put money in a tin, there you go'. :D

i love children in need but it breaks my heart to see these poor kids suffering, its a hard part of the programme to watch. i wish our little country could do something like this, but i know its not an easy thing to organise

In spite of DLB, it wasn't bad overall. Have to say, the thread here makes it a lot more enjoyable to watch!

I remember the original Live Aid - Ireland raised more cash than Britain. RTE put on a great programme that day.

Not per head - more money full stop. Irish people are always generous, even when times are very tough.

Yeah and I can remember all the guests. Usually I spend 5 mins after trying to think who was on for half of it

EDIT: Snap, Skid! Saw this in the West End back in July, with Joe Pasquale as King Arthur!

I saw it here at the Grand Canal Theatre, Phill Jupitus and Todd Carthy in the cast, no less.

Gay Byrne was in the audience the night I was there. But I think he got free tickets.

i vaguely remember it, im struggling with the year though, was it 2 years, 1993 is my guess.

I think the irish are brilliant when it comes to helping people that are in need, my town is brilliant when this kind of thing becomes horribly apparent, its inspirational to be honest

Yeah, Gay Byrne didn't really come into his own until 1967 ;)

My father reckons he used to get terrible stick on Boards back in '64 and '65

I just saw Dot/June on the plus1 earlier. I thought she was good fun but the whole thing was very staged.

Reading the comments more than made up for missing the rest of the show.

    Thanks again.

I know. Tubs starts off by telling him how far he's slipped down the rankings.

Tubs is currently #903 in the world chat show host rankings, behind Montenegro's "Crazy Gijoslav" Tamovic, notable for feeding his guests traditional Montenegrin dishes, and his many war crimes.

Rory is a totally sound lad. I can tell you that from personal experience and I'm not talking about a 30 seconds meet in public.

    COYM = Caroline O.Y. Wozniacki?
