HELP- no mouse working!!

    no upperfilters = mouse not working,
    can you try the ps2 mouse driver install,
    in my earlier post

    regedit can be used to export selected nodes (and all subnodes) in the registry.

    The resulting file can be run (Windows opens it with regedit) to add those entries to the registry.

    Do backups first.

    say your wife has win7 laptop could you export the node from the registry that deals with the mouse ,and
    and import it in to your registry.

    do a full registry backup first.

    Well then, one edited registery later and we are back in business.

    Great stuff! I wouldn't have thought of the registry as the cause so I tip my hat to the others here who suggested it :)

    Glad it's back up and running for you haha, have a gander at this, might be of use to ya but I've never used it, after seeing the Hell you've just been through I think I'll have a look at it :D
