Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    I just bought this http://www.powercity.ie/?par=10-14-46F6500&pages=1&prod=46F6500&brands=SAMSUNG&image=

Differences with the one on Littlewoods (besides being €50 more expensive) is that it is 400Hz and also has a Satellite Tuner built in which are well worth the extra €50 plus Powercity have these in stock so no waiting three weeks.

The picture quality is amazing - almost too good as it makes HD programmes look more like you are watching a play. The smart functions are great too with Netflix and RTE Player getting a lot of use already.

I picked my one up from LW for 779. Not overly impressed with the picture quality i must say, do you have HD tv package tom? still playing round with it and getting to grips, especially the 3d feature

Yes - HD with UPC Horizon. Picture quality is excellent. I did play around with the colour settings a lot though - the defaults were not great.

I only tried the Discover 3d app and it was impressive but I don't think I will be using 3d too often.

Found this link which describes "The Soap Opera Effect" which makes movies look like cheap TV - some good tips there.
