Demerit points

Hi, I got done for speeding and the officer fined me and said I've been given demerit points. Only ting is I only have an Irish driving license which I presented to him. Does anyone know if the demerit points can be put onto my Irish license? Any help appreciated.

Nope, not as far as i know, no ability to transfer points between different jurastrictions. Id say no need to worry. Pay the fine though, best not burn any bridges.
