    Significant Bus Éireann service changes coming into effect in just over a week. In the main the changes are good news.

    Trim/Athboy - Navan - Drogheda:

    * New bus service, numbered 190A, from Athboy to Navan (continuing to Drogheda & Laytown). Five each way during the week. Three each way on Saturday & Sunday.

    * During the week an hourly service each way between Navan, Slane and Drogheda.

    * Buses extended to/from Laytown.

    * Later buses in the evening.

    * More buses at the weekend.

    * All Trim-Navan-Slane-Drogheda buses numbered 190.

    The not so good news:

    * It will still take quite a long time to travel from Navan to Drogheda - 50 minutes.

    * No more buses between Duleek and Navan/ Navan and Duleek (passengers have to change at Drogheda or Ashbourne)

    New timetable for Route 190/A

    Drogheda-Duleek-Ashbourne:

    * Will be served by route 189/A which will start at the Ninemile Stone (Finglas side of Ashbourne) and finish at Clogherhead/Grangebellew. The route will run from Duleek to O'Brien's Cross where it will join the N2 road.

    * Later evening bus from Drogheda to Duleek at 19.35

    New timetable for Route 189/A
