    Your Acer got burnt ?

    If so

Is it potted or planted direct in soil.

Could it been under lack of moisture stress durning summer?
    Or windy Spot? Newly Planted?
    P.S
I'd love to attach a photo of Autumn colours but most leaves of fallen off the Red Oak and Golden Maples, and my Favourite
    Itea virginica 'Henry's Garnet' sweetspire.

it's new, potted and part of the garden that gets most sun.....although the garden doesnt get a lot of sun....

well watered though. Garden shop said it happeneed a lot this year, but forgot to ask if there was anything i needed to do with it over winter for next year.

I'd say to move it out of the sun entirely. Mine is on the shady side of my garden and some leaves still got scorched with the small amount of sun that made it to that corner.

Lovely autumnal color there pwurple, its a fabulous time of the year though the wind today is doing a number on the trees here.
My neighbours garden has no grass, its 100% covered with leaves from his huge cherry tree.
I am tempted to ask him for them to use as a mulch as he has zero interest in gardening! :pac:
