I'm about to take the plunge into AV Receivers and for my budget I'm torn between Onkyo TXNR626 or Yamaha RX-V375

    Any opinions?

    Seanieke,

many thanks for the post and apologies for the delay getting back to you - thats actually quite a tough choice, generaly I'd prefer the sound quality of teh Yamaha range but the recent reduction on the 626 makes it pretty irrestable value at just £299.95 - and it really does have an excellent spec as well as its a 7.2 receiver with more inputs than the 375. The 626 also has bluetooth and is network ready whilst the 375 isnt smart.

If you are into your gadgets the Onkyo also has smartphone control which is a neat extra to allow you control your AVR from anywhere in the house thats on the same network.

To sum up they are both excellent receivers, at £249 the Yamaha is the obvious choice but if you can push the budget to £299 then I'd go for the Onkyo 626,

We have both availabe and ready to ship - if you would like to grab one please just drop us a line with your contact details and I'll get one of the guys to give you a shout to get you sorted,

Thanks again and keep us posted if we can assist in any way,

    ATVB,
