Cleaning beer from boot of car

Hey all,
Bought a couple of cans of John Smiths for a friend (t'was up in Tyrone at the weekend), had them in the boot, and whilst coming to work today, one of the cans exploded. Thus there's now a strong smell of beer in the car

Does anyone know a good way to clean said beer off the inside boot section of my car?

Baking soda is great for absorbing smells, spread it out over the area leave it for a good few hours and vacuum it off

Cat litter placed in something porous but contained like (clean)old socks is also great at absorbing odors.

Coffee in a sock works too.
make sure its a clean sock. otherwise your boot might smell of beer, coffee and feet.

I think the use of either a cut onion or a sliced lemon also works.

I'd say first blot out as much of the beer as you possibly can. Then sponge with a solution of white wine vinegar (say about a tablespoon in a litre of warm water, with a squirt of washing up liquid), and then use plain warm water to wash that clearning solution out.
