Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Adding Videos to iTunes?

    Hi,

I normally use iTunes only for music but tried for the first time today to add videos.
However, I simply cannot find a way.
The videos on my hard drive are already .mp4 format and either (1) dragging and dropping or (2) using file, add file to library etc simply do not work for me.
    iTunes just does nothing.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks in advance :)

    Do you have QuickTime installed?

    No. Do I need that?

Definitely install QuickTime. Also the video format may be incompatible with iTunes and might need to be converted, or reconverted as it were, to another iTunes supported format.

I installed it and Quicktime can play any of the .mp4 files perfectly.
Still can't import them into iTunes though?

I tried using some video converter programme earlier this evening to convert the .mp4 files to .mp4 files (as you say, re-convert!) but no joy

    Any thoughts?

Thanks for your help, I appreciate it

Reinstall iTunes now that you have the latest QuickTime and see if that helps. :)

Install the free VLC app on iOS and then use it to import videos of any format either try iTunes, Dropbox or a direct wifi upload
