First time new PC build - need help!

    Hi All,
    I am being pestered by my two boys to get a decent computer so they can play minecraft and other latest releases, my current PC is a Dell Dimension 9200. I could use some parts from this maybe, like the DVD drive.
    Look to be honest if I can go all new and dump this old warhorse and keep the budget under my limit I will.
    Any help would be much appreciated.
    Oh one more thing, do I need to get a new Windows OS or will the XP on this machine work?

    1. What is your budget?
    €450 - €550

    2. What will be the main purpose of the computer? [Gaming/Video Internet] (Minecraft, Halo, COD)

    3. Do you need a copy of Windows? Not sure, currently have XP on a Dell dimension 9200

    4. Can you use any parts from an old computer? Hard drive as a back-up /DVD Drive/ Model = Dell Dimension 9200

    5. Do you need a monitor? No...Have a 26" LCD TV with VGA connection

    5a. If yes, what size do you need. N/A

    5b. If no, what resolution is your current monitor and do you plan to upgrade in the near future?
    1024x768

    6. Do you need any of these peripherals? gaming mouse

    7. Are you willing to try overclocking? Not sure, never tried it!!

    8. How can you pay? Credit Card/Laser

    9. When are you purchasing? After Christmas

    10. If you need help building it, where are you based? Drogheda
