Australia for 1 day training course?

Friend of mine is over in New Zealand on WHV and landed a pretty sweet job in business development. Only problem is they send all staff to Australia for training as this is where their head office is. It's never been a problem as they've only ever hired NZers and Australians.

As an Irish citizen, is she allowed to come to Australia for 1 day training or is this classed as work? She's already used up her Australian WHV.

Why doesn't she just come on an e-visitor visa?.

She can but does training technically breach the conditions of this visa?

The e-visitor visa can be used for business purposes.

If it is only a 1 day training seminar, I would call that a business trip. Not worth worrying about tbh, I doubt she will get kicked out of the country for it.
