Pay as you go gas meter

    I have a Pay as you go gas meter 13 years now, I switched over to you for my gas back in June and this is the first time in 13 years I have received a bill for it saying I owe money?

    Hi hellboy99,

    Bills are sent to all of our customers, including PAYG customers, for whom the bills are to be treated as statements/a breakdown of transactions.

    An arrear can accrue on a PAYG meter if a top-up in advance does not cover subsequent usage.

    If you would like us to check your account, do private message your Electric Ireland account number and your name/address/telephone number as they appear on your account (we can only discuss specifics with an account-holder).
