    Hi all,

New to this. Was just in American Golf dundrum. Got a set of irons (good value) and i noticed the GPS on sale. A Garmin S1 €119....

Spoke to a good fella there. He knew his stuff. Any views on the Garmin s1?

Hmm, plenty of threads about it on here.
    Some examples http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?p=75574854
You could use the search function for more info on it.

Surely the thread title should be Garmin S1 watch, rather than American Golf.....

There's an offers thread as well here

Are you sure that the correct price is €119 and not £119 (€145)?

Possibly not. Got a mail in from American GOlf today advertising the Garmin S1 at £99, so could be around the €119 mark?

That's a bargain for that money

    Yes indeed.
I was going to pick one up this week anyway and the last time I checked the site (a few days ago) it was £119.

The key to getting the full benefit out of any distance measuring device is to know how far you hit each club.

If that was sarcastic, I don't see why.
