Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

O Shea should be off, thats as professional a hand ball as it gets.

Not bad, but think Forde should be hoofing it long less often. Westwood used the full back to start attacks on Friday. Forde has proved to be quality, but kicks it long far too much.

you cant blame the keeper for that, at all. if the players are available to take it short, i am sure he would pass it to them.

That looked like something you'd do out in the back garden to piss off your mates that you're playing against!

What did O'Shea do? I missed it as I kinda nodded off? The sound of the laptop falling to the floor awoke me.
For those who may still be asleep, the score in this game is still 0-0

The 110 mins I've seen so far under O'Neill, have underlined what I've been saying about Trap for the past two years. These players are not nearly as bad as they've seemed. And this is our B team.

Strange one that from John O'Shea. I think if this was a competitive game he would have got red there.

Lewandowski tried to flick it over his head, he just caught it and put it on the ground

not a bad first half from us, at least we're looking to play a bit of ball.

The commentator must be a close personal friend of Stephen Ward. To suggest that he put himself back in contention for a starting spot with his performance last Friday is one of thie strangest thing I've ever heard!

Happy with that half. We look the better of the two teams. Couple of dodgy moments in defence but not bad. Passing the ball pretty well. Have created a few decent chances including one that would have been a goal if Stephen Kelly could head the ball. Encouraging stuff.

I'm actually beginnning to take to Green. He doesn't have a praising role so everyone assumes he's completely useless. I'm not saying he's great but he is much better than what people give credit for. There are few Irish players on the pitch that can pass the ball and tackle/intercept as well as green can.

Also, Stephen Ward started the last night and he didn't get half the abuse Green is getting tonight! What's up with the that? Even green is on another level to Ward. :pac:

He actually looks like a footballer tonight unlike under Trapp where the mantra was kick the ball anywhere up forward.

Nice to see a continuation of the passing game tonight and actually breaking with numbers instead of lumping the ball up front & hoping Long or Walters can manage to hold it up.Players actually demanding the ball is nice to see along with movement which is creating space for us to play in.

Years from now, his name will be sang across the land with adulation and gusto.

Everyone: WE ALL DREAM OF A TEAM OF PAUL GREENS, A TEAM OF PAUL GREENS*

    *Repeat ad nauseum

    NUMBER ONE* IS PAUL GREEN

*Repeat replacing 'one' with numbers 2 through to 11.

Forde, Wilson, O Shea, Long, Mccarthy, Mcgeady, Walters would all be in most people peoples first 11's, all we are missing really is Coleman, Gibson, Keane and possibly Dunne.

We're missing Keane, McClean, Hoolahan, Dunne, O'Shea, Coleman and Westwood from my first choice 11. Plus, any side with Green in it surely has to be classed a B team :p No Whelan either.

And I hate the way they pronounce his name.
