getting information off a broken phone

my nokia n70 screen broke down as the screen just went white and im going to buy a new one as repairing it could cost as much at 40euro nearly the cost of a new phone. However i want to recover data present on the phone ie phone numbers,notes,texts etc that were present on it.Is there anyway of doing that?

Do you have the usb cable?
If you don't its the pop-port type, should get one real cheap or might find an old one from someone
