There's little hope of getting one in Argos now, unfortunately.

A big long shot is that someone who has an extra reservation code posts here, like earlier.

On that note, if anyone has a Dun Laoghaire Argos code (or south dub), if you're feeling kind...... :pac:

No word from Brown Thomas either, chanced my arm with putting my name down on the waiting list a couple of weeks back but presume they've sold out.

Not too pushed on getting one straight away but all this looking is a bit of fun! Nice to see boardsies sharing the love with reservations!

I did. They gave me a 10e gift voucher and a little booklet containing 180e worth of discounts/vouchers exclusively for xb1/ps4 stuff like 6e off a game over 45 etc

I would encourage anyone who is just sitting on boards, to get over to adverts, and "enquire" about the PS4's at twice the price.

Got screwed by amazon. Was promised delivery today by cs. Talking to them last night they told me it was being shipped. This morning I was told they were oit of stock. Gutted. Had one guaranteed with HN that I gave away that was picked up no problems. Been told by Amazon I will get it after xmas.

If anyone want so sell me a consol or has one reserved to spare I pay for it!! Gutted here.

Collecting later so may save a few quid with these vouchers. Do they cover likes of a Fifa and an extra controller?

They have been f**king people over left, right and centre.

If I get told that mine isn't coming until after Christmas I reckon I'll cancel and get one in the new year.

Guys, I managed to get a PS4 "Knack" Bundle from Argos Extra in Arklow this morning, after queuing for three hours!!

They only got three in and are not sure if they are getting more.

However, Amazon.co.uk are now taking orders for various PS4 bundles with delivery guaranteed before Christmas!!!! (So, now queuing or running around involved).

The Consoles on their own are sold out but there are a choice of bundle packages, all competitively priced, with guaranteed delivery BEFORE Christmas.

For instance the mega bundle for me should arrive "after release date but before Christmas"

However my order summary says - "The following item will arrive after 25 Dec 2013."

Customer Service claim that it will still arrive "after release date but before Christmas".

Some people on the Amazon forums have reported getting conflicting information from different CSAs.

It's worth a punt but I wouldn't rely on them.

I've always found them very reliable and they tend to err on the side of caution, particularly for promised Christmas deliveries, so I doubt that they would promise dleivery before Christmas if there was a chance they they couldn't fulfill the order. Their reputation is too imporant to them to handle the flack that would ensue.
