Waterfordlife.ie Looking for Community/Voluntary/Resident Associations.

    Hi,

    I'm looking for some help in identifying some organisations that may benefit from having a free web presence on a new website that is arriving for the city early next year.

    The website, www.waterfordlife.ie, is currently under construction and we are looking to help groups that are in and around the Community / Voluntary Sector. We would teach you the basic skills needed to be able to manage and update your webpage or pages while also giving support and advice on how to best make use of this service and opportunity.

    The training time is 3 hours and, as mentioned, is totally free if you come under the Community and Voluntary Sector. We are also offering limited places to resident associations. Below are some examples of organisations that have taken up training with us so far. Please feel free to have a browse of the site, just keep in mind that some areas of the site are still under construction.

    The idea behind the site is to be able to have an easy to access essential services guide to the various community and voluntary bodies for the people of Waterford. We will also be expanding the site to cover the county at a later stage.

    im involved with a volunteer group based in here in waterford, would seem like a good idea to get us involved in this project
