Need advice! Realistic text

    Hey, I haven't started but I am planning soon to start editing video clips for a project. I have a question as I am unaware with the features and the possibilities various of programmes offer.

    Would it be possible to add text onto something like a stone ground or wall and make it look like it's actually there (painted on to, graffiti etc) and not edited? Also what programms would people suggest?

    After Effects would allow you to do that.

    If the shots are moving then it gets more difficult. So if you can try at first to do with with static shots.
