    Hi All,

Just an fyi to be on your guard. Just got an Tax refund alert by sms on three mobile network. Tells you to go to an Irish sounding/lookalike revenue internet address and then asks to enter in your bank details etc. I know that they were doing doing this by email, but never seen an SMS up to now.

Of course who's every doing it should know that our revenue department would never be so proactive.

Banks and Revenue don't use email and SMS to communicate in that way for a good reason.

This was in the papers earlier in the week btw, I got one of those texts myself (on Meteor) on Monday.

    Scrap the cap!
