Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Thought Flanagan was good to be honest. Allen too bar that crazy miss

Flanagan had some decent patches but overall he was poor.

Brilliant game, maybe game of the season. Draw a very fair result but everton should have been down to 10.

Im pointing a big finger at Rodgers though we nearly lost it with his decision to take off the only functioning part of the midfield.

    Gerard assists aside was woeful.

disgusted after being ahead twice we didnt win, and delighted we got the draw after being behind ... great entertainment

All 6 goals (directly or indirectly) came from set pieces.

Nice touch there by sturridge, gave a young lad his jersey.

Doesnt he do that at every game?

We should have been against 10 for the game, and Allen missed a total sitter, so really we should have won it.

But happy with a point all the same.

All over, draw fair result over all I would say.

Nah... I would say Liverpool were lucky to get the draw. Great game for the neutral though.

Flanagan and Allen were poor. Sakho should have started the match.

Lukaku, Suarez and Mignolet had great games.

Im not having that, Flanagan done very well imo.

He was really shaky in the first twenty or so, after that he was solid enough.

Not that it's saying all that much but Flanagan was probably the best defender on the pitch.

Which, given the game, is like saying he was the last lemming over the cliff.

Does that make up for him being pure ****e for the rest of the game?

Yes as we wouldn't had the goal without him.

    Stats eh???

stats don't show that Everton should have been down to 10...blatantly.

stats don't show allen missing a SITTER....but yeah..... stats

why joe allen is still is at liverpool is baffling. why lukaku is on loan and not the number 1 striker at chelsea is even more baffling.

Funny, I don't remember the same outrage this time last year when Suarez had a last minute "winner" ruled out but should have seen yellow 4 times and didn't even see one. It was also so very unfair on Liverpool then I seem to remember

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 23,226 ✭✭✭✭J. Marston

Lukaku is handy. He can play crap and still manage to score two goals.

Well both of those situations would have changed the game , as would have Suarez's header straight at Howard....maybe its better to say that Everton slightly shaded the play and were the better team.

I told you's Flanagan will be alright and big future ahead.
Never found wanting and as solid as they come.
He looks to have got that rashness out of his game and now looks more composed.

Didn't he get beaten twice quite easliy there towards the end? I only saw the second half, he looked solid enough but he was found wanting.

He'll turn out decent though I'll agree.

I haven't even started on the fact that it wasn't a free kick in the first place.....or that Skrtel (I think it was him) was propping himself up on both of Jagielka's shoulders when he headed the "assist"

Sweet, I'd gone into negative "typical Liverpool" mood, forgetting we've players like Sturridge, Suarez, Mignolet and yep, even Gerrard on the pitch.

They've had good seasons the last few years in fairness

And you think they'll definitely finish above 2 of Arsenal, Liverpool, City, Chelsea, United and Spurs?

Can't believe they gave MOTM to lukaku.

I had a quick glance through the thread and I'm astonished there are posts complaining about Lucas, he was my man of the match during his time on the field, saved us multiple times.

I really was disgusted that Mirallas didn't see straight red it was a horrific tackle and dowd bottled it. Not only that but he should have been booked three times in the second half. Terrible ref.

All things considered I'm happy with a draw, would have been a killer to lose it especially after Allen's miss.

Even Martinez gave it to mignolet! He's looking like a great signing
