Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Gerrard is awful......tired and sloppy again and again

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,386 ✭✭✭✭DDC1990

There will be a sending off soon. The ref needs to take control of the game
Well if Mirallas didn;t get sent off I don't know how anyone else could be!

    Great covering by Lucas

And people will still say Lucas can't read the game.

We need to get Suarez and McCarthy isolated more....McCarthy is key here to a Liverpool win.

The ref must have been on the whiskey this morning, clueless

Jesus that was tackle on Suarez. If that wasn't a red then nothing is.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 25,243 ✭✭✭✭Jesus Wept

The ref took his time, having consulted with the linesmen that was only ever a red.

Everton screaming for a non-existant elbow.

Distin too who got away without a yellow for a forearm on Agger

Maybe, maybe not. Fact is it wasn't given.

Thats' a 100% red card against Gerrard there, not even a card though. Swings and round............

    Eh?

Very concerned with the Liverpool defence. When a ball comes near our back 4 its panic all the way. Need another goal as can see Everton scoring again

Think one of the angles showed a player running across Dowds view, probably see it again at half time

Some game, not free flowing football but a proper derby none the less. Everton lucky not to be down to ten men

    Mirallas must be 200% then!

Maybe a yellow for Gerrard at most.

A Suarez red in retaliation could be a good bet.

That Belgian lump knows he is on a tightrope now so hopefully another yellow can be enticed from him.

So what exactly do you have to do to get a red card?

Despite his reputation Suarez does not really do that and has never had a red card with LFC.

It's obvious Pienarr was out there to run out if it was a lay off

He's not even part of the wall

I've never watched BT at halftime before - they've a small training ground set up in the studio, recreating the free kick with Ginola 'killing' one of the dummies in the wall. I'm not sure if it's brilliant or awful!

The NBC stream I'm watching mentioned that if that tackle was the other way people would have been talking about having Suarez banned and they are right.

I know Suarez has brought a reputation with him but that shouldn't allow for him to be tackled like that.
