He was never beating rolling star tbh, whether Schofield rode the horse to its best placing I don't know, but no way was he winning the race.

He probably wouldn't but with that ride we will never know, it's ****ing appalling what the big yards can get away with.

Is there a touch of pocket verbals here? :)

Have taken a small chance on hendersons here in the next could be anything and will probably need the run but the price is right.

All the good jumps racing on today & Urban manages to find a 14/1 winner at ****ing Lingfield

That's what you're the judge & I'm the law talkin' guy

Race of the day is at 1:50 at Haydock tomorrow. Clondaw Kaempfer is a horse I have been following since it first ran and scored a highly impressive win over The Liquidator. Won its next two races easily while up against weaker opposition than this time admittedly. Last time out it stumbled at the third last while travelling well, hurt itself and had to be pulled up. I think but for that, it would have either won or came second to a very good horse in Taquin Du Seuil. Distance should be no problem, neither should the soft ground be either.

4/1 with various bookies at the moment. I reckon it'll be more like 3/1 at the off tomorrow.
Woeful ride and a woeful run.

Note to self: Do not back any more McCain animals. Clondaw Kaempfer all over the shop there. Lesson learned.

Timmy Murphy goes to Huntingdon for one ride on 2.50 Huntingdon Cute Court 4/1. On his first ride for Liam Corcoran, Murphy rides this 6 year old former P2P winner who stayed on very nicely into 4th over 3m on handicap debut and off 1lb lower and over 2f further he should go very close in what is a low grade race.

Woeful ride is a bit harsh. The horse made at least 5 mistakes never stood a chance in a handicap making that many mistakes.

    nah
writing was on the wall a long way out

a gentle reintroduction there after a break
there'll be an improved effort next time no doubt

Ran a decent race so got some place money.
I do really like a horse in the fixed brush. I think Two Rockers will be suited down to the ground by this race. Ground/trip everything looks ideal.
    Still some 7/1 available.

Thought that was a more than satisfactory return for Al Ferof. Traveled & for the most part jumped really well.

I'm sure connections will be pleased and onwards & upwards from here. Next stop Kempton I guess? I'd 20/1 AP for last years bloody race!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 21,625 ✭✭✭✭Johner

Yeah Al Ferof did that nicely, a bit sketchy at a few but a nice run to blow off the cobwebs.

Yep, Hales wants a tilt at the King George then Gold Cup, if he goes well at Kempton.

Had 16/1 myself. Ha. Even put him up in the nh predictions thread myself at 16/1. No bet in it though.

Pipe is some gangster. Couldn't have been more negative in his interview before hand and then they backed him nicely late on.
    Nice ride by scudamore though.
Hopefully it's a sign of things to come for Dynaste.

Yeah seen that,he said the weight rise was very harsh and was very negative in general

Zarkandar has to be the value here but no bet.

No problems if I lose money(only had 15 on it) and the horse has raced but when its schooled it just not right. I hate it not just when I back the horse.

    Looking forward to this battle

No way will she run in Champion Hurdle jumping like that.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 18,335 ✭✭✭✭UrbanSea

Would not be rushing to back her for the Champion don't think her jumping is too good. 8/1 for the champion is awful

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 878 ✭✭✭sonnky

Great battle there.. Annie Power didn't jump too well, she is a machine.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,557 ✭✭✭droidman123

I backed zarkander, but that was impressive from Annie power.

8/1 Annie Power with Ladbrokes for the Champion Hurdle is an absolute joke.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 7,669 ✭✭✭Colonel Sanders

She obviously has a serious engine but can a horse win a champion hurdle stepping back to 2m & jumping like that?

I think the fact she didn't jump too well made the win more impressive,a bit of schooling will sort the jumping out

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 19,351 ✭✭✭✭Harry Angstrom

She looks like a chaser already.

Jesus that Wylie one is a CRACKER

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 4,173 ✭✭✭hucklebuck

Anyone think Jacob could have done better there, he keep looking back to see Annie Power coming and left it late to go for Zarkandar who would respond for pressure for a mile or more.

A good victory for her but can't see her beating the boys

Don't think any amount of schooling will take her jumping to the level of Hurricane Fly, MTOY, Our Conor or even The New One who seems to have improved his no end.

Annie Power is my main bet!

Treble of Annie Power, Oscars Well and Al Ferof too.

Lie Ferit at Haydock e/w also.

    Annie Power lands!

    Oscars Well loses the treble.

    Lie Ferit places!
